Book Formatting Services
eBook Formatting
We accept your manuscript in whichever editable text format you have, whether Scrivener, Word or Google Docs. Once an agreement has been made and we have received your file, we will begin the formatting process to your specification. We will output to whichever format you need, whether .epub, .mobi or Word docx (From our own experience an sepub file is compatible with the most amount of services. KDP also accepts docx files).
Your ebook will have all the necessary formatting. We include paragraph indents, chapter headings, book covers (if you provide this), table of contents, and scene breaks in the file. Your manuscript will feel like a real book once it is formatted as an ebook. At this moment, we can only format a total of 5 images in your ebook file, this may change in futureIf you have any specific style requests, you may make these known before the service commences.

Paperback Formatting
We take your manuscript in its current state and transform it into a formatted paperback interior that is compatible with KDP. Before this service can commence, you must let us know which book size you would like for your book. Amazon KDP has a list of sizes here. 6x9 is the most common print size.
Once your size has been chosen, we can format your book while keeping in mind the correct margins to accommodate the gutter. This is the area of the page in between the spine. Please understand that this is not a cover design service but we can point you in the direction of some cover designers if you need them. If you need to format for IngramSpark, we currently offer this within our consultancy service. If you have any specific style requests, you may make these known before the service commences.

Consulting
Do you need to buy an ISBN but you're unsure about the process? Do you need to publish on IngramSpark but are completely at a loss about how to go about it? Do you need help with Neilsen's title editor? Do you need to find information on book cover designers, editors and the general independent publishing process? Do you want your book published on Draft2Digital, Kobo writing life or any other ebook distribution platform?
If any of this is true and you need some help, our consulting service aims to bridge the gap on anything our two other services do not offer. If what you want is clear to us, we will carry out the tasks for you charged at an hourly rate. This may require you sharing some login information with us so we are able to get the job done. An introductory one-hour conversation will be necessary before any work begins and this will be charged. We have published a number of other titles independently and have the knowhow to point you in the right direction. At this moment we cannot assist with Audiobook enquiries, this will change in the future.
