I’m sure it’s no surprise, but Solo Leveling started as a novel before its adaptation to manhwa in 2016. Crunchy Roll has also announced an anime series by A-1 Pictures. The announcement came this year at Anime Expo 2022.

Baam is a young man with little experience of society. He is socially awkward and hasn’t been in the precence of many, except for Rachel. Rachel is the only girl he’s ever cared for. He desires nothing more than to continue living with her.
However, Rachel is inspired to reach the top of the Tower, and she will leave Baam behind to do so. The tower is a dangerous place full of ancient secrets, monsters and nefarious humans. Baam decides to follow Rachel on her journey up the tower. And he soon learns that he is an irregular person. Baam is suddenly given even more motivation to reach the top of the tower.
Tower of God is now a successful anime series, and was one of the hottest animes of 2020.
